Klik is being acquired by Bizzabo!

We are thrilled to announce that klik has been acquired by Bizzabo, a leader in the event experience space.

Who is Bizzabo?

Bizzabo is an event technology leader powering immersive in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences. Bizzabo’s Event Experience Operating System is a data-rich open platform that allows Event Experience Leaders to manage events, engage audiences, activate communities, and deliver powerful business outcomes — all while keeping attendee data private and secure.

With the recent launch of its category leading platform, Bizzabo is committed to developing and investing in innovative, experiential technology like klik. Klik is Bizzabo’s fourth acquisition in seven months and follows the company’s $138 million Series E funding round led by New York-based Insight Partners. Bizzabo was founded in 2011 and has more than 300 employees in its New York, Tel-Aviv, Kyiv, London, and Montreal offices, as well as 15+ remote locations around the world. 

What does this mean for existing klik clients?

For current klik clients, Bizzabo is committed to delivering on any existing klik events and the existing klik team will still be managing your account.

As part of this acquisition, klik will be integrated into Bizzabo’s Event Experience OS and offered as part of the Bizzabo product offering.

Several members of the klik team will be transitioning to Bizzabo and will be more than happy to show you how Bizzabo can elevate your event experiences.

Klik was created in 2016 with the vision of enabling true connections that create lasting memories. We know that event organizers seek to engage with their guests in the best way possible, and this is why we developed klik as a solution based on smart wearables. We aim to create a better sense of connectedness between attendees and allow them to live in the moment.

Over the years, we’ve worked with some incredible organizations, helping create better experiences by enabling attendee interaction and providing event organizers with the data they need to gain insights to make their events even better.

In 2020, the live events industry experienced a shock like nothing seen before. Regardless, we were ready to serve the industry once events became a part of our reality again. As the world began to open up, we were able to get back out in the field doing what we’re passionate about.

Now, we’re ecstatic to be part of the Bizzabo Event Experience OS, joining a robust onsite event management solution that is poised to shape the future of professional events and help serve our customers even better!

To all of our clients, partners, and friends, it has been an absolute pleasure, and we thank you for all your support throughout the years! 

However, this is not goodbye. This is simply the beginning of a new chapter, and we couldn’t be more excited!
