Montreal (Canada), July 21 - In light of the COVID-19 crisis, klik, a world leader in connected devices, has reinvented itself in order to adapt to the future of live events. Today, the tech company launches a new hybrid event solution that includes their innovative smart wearables to not only drive engagement but help create a safer environment for in-person attendees through added safety capabilities like contact tracing, touchless interactions, and crowd management features.
The objective is to create one collective experience for both in-person and virtual attendees at an event by adapting klik’s already tried and proven event platform. This single platform now gives the event planner the flexibility to organize in-person, virtual, or hybrid events.
For the in-person attendees, safety features have been added to smart wearables initially created for engagement. Added capabilities such as contact tracing to inform people at risk when someone is tested positive, touchless interactions to avoid handshakes and brochures handling, and crowd management to easily respect the crowd density standards and to control traffic flow all help event organizers navigate safety measures.

However, we adapted the platform to make it more engaging for remote audiences and to allow connections between in-person and virtual attendees. On top of adding live streaming, we developed networking video calls for one-on-one meetings or group discussions. We also improved our gamification to boost the engagement of virtual attendees”.

Online attendees can not only watch live sessions but also join the conversation and express their opinion via live polling and Q&A.
Attendees have access to chats, 1-on-1 meetings with video conferencing, and group video-meetings.
